With the latest version of our Android app (2.4 and above), you'll now find the option to import artists from your music library and Spotify playlists in the overflow menu.
Simply hit the menu icon in the top right hand corner of the app, and you'll see the imports listed.
When scanning your Spotify playlists, you'll be prompted for your Spotify credentials (or Facebook login). We'll then grab up to 400 artists from those that you follow on Spotify, followed by those that appear most frequently in your playlists.
When scanning your music library, we grab any artists whose music is stored locally on your Android device.
You can also manually search for and track specific artists via the search icon in the top right hand corner of the app.

This never works... It will appear to start, but then comes up with a message asking me to check my internet connection. It doesn't matter whether I am connected to my home wifi, or my phone's phoneternet.
