How is the addressable audience calculated?

We will promote your campaign to all of your artists' fans on Songkick that track the city, or cities, where the show(s) are taking place. In reality, these are fans that either live in the city and its surrounding area, or these are fans that are always on the lookout for concerts in that city and therefore have signed up to receive relevant alerts (they may travel there regularly, for example). 

When expanding by geographical reach, the audience calculation includes all the areas of fans that fall within the mile radius selected. The audience extension is applied to all events selected. 

In some instances, when expanding by geographical reach, there will be little change to the audience size. This is largely because, as mentioned above, fans on Songkick can track multiple areas and can frequently be seen to track various major cities to receive concert alerts. A small increase in audience size can also be expected when an artist’s most tracked cities are already included in the original tour routing. An expansion of radius in these cases will simply pull in those less popular, less densely-tracked, areas.
