How do Presales with Songkick work?
For the first time, you can now directly email your artist fanbase on Songkick to promote presale campaigns. For your presale campaign with Songkick, all of your artist’s fans in the areas of their tour will be emailed an exclusive code, with the presale visible across songkick.com and on mobile apps upon going live. Fans can also set mobile notification reminders that the presale is due to go live.
Which ticketing vendors can I use in my Songkick Presale?
All ticketing vendors are more than welcome here! When setting up your presale with Songkick, you will input one presale ticket link for each Songkick event listing. The vendors of these ticket links can vary between tour dates for that campaign. The presale access code, however, must be consistent across all tour dates on the presale campaign.

How do I add my artist's tour to Songkick?
Songkick is an aggregator of concert listings, collecting events from over one hundred different ticket vendors worldwide, as well as getting dates from local listings, direct from artists, agencies and many other sources.
It is, therefore, very possible that your artist’s tour dates will already be on Songkick.
On the off chance that they are not, here are two easy ways of adding your artist's tour dates to Songkick:

What marketing will Songkick do around my tour?
Once a tour date is added to our platform, we'll automatically notify the Songkick users in that city that track that artist, so artists can immediately reach their target audience! This is via Daily Digest email and app notification.
We also give our users the option to mark themselves as 'Interested' or 'Going' to the event. If they do so, we will also remind them of that event two weeks before the concert date.
We also promote these dates on the Spotify 'Concerts' tab, as well as via our other integrations with Soundcloud, Facebook, Shazam and Bandcamp. You can also use our tour widget to automatically pull your Songkick concert listings through to your artist’s website. Read more about our website widget here.
How do I know how many fans will be notified about my presale?
In order to check out how many fans your artist has in a particular area (and therefore who we will be notifying about their event there), head to Tourbox and navigate to the 'Fan insights' tab in the left-hand nav. Here you will see this info via the 'Your top cities' module.
How do I set up my Songkick Presale?
This couldn't be easier! Firstly, get in touch with us via firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can grant you access to the tool. Then simply head to tourbox.songkick.com and select the artist in question via the dropdown in the top left-hand corner of the screen. Once selected head to the 'Presale campaigns' tab in the left-hand nav to build out your Presale with Songkick.
What is the preferred image size of the presale photo?
We recommend you use an image with an aspect ratio of 9:5, ideally sized at 1350px x 750px. We will still do our best to crop images that don't fit these dimensions.
What will the Songkick Presale email that is sent out to my Songkick trackers look like?
While building your Songkick Presale in Tourbox, the fan email will automatically generate to the right of the screen. You can therefore easily screengrab this image as and when you need to send email proofs to interested parties.
When will Songkick send out presale codes to my Songkick trackers?
We start sending presale codes to your Songkick trackers 24 hours before the presale on-sale time. This presale on-sale time is stated by your team during the presale build in Tourbox.
If the presale is confirmed in Tourbox less than 24 hours before the start of the presale, we will send out presale emails as soon as the presale is confirmed in Tourbox. It is also important to note that we will never send out presale emails before all events on that tour have been announced on Songkick.
When will my Songkick Presale be visible across all Songkick products? (Songkick.com, iPhone app, Android app)
Your Songkick Presale will be visible on your Songkick artist page on songkick.com, as well as our iPhone and Android apps, as soon as you confirm your Songkick Presale in Tourbox.
We, therefore, recommend that you confirm your Songkick Presale via Tourbox as soon as you are certain of all relevant criteria so that the presale is visible to visitors to your Songkick artist page for as long as possible. We also find that promoting the presale via your artist’s social media channels can really help to drive engagement here.
How can I measure the success of my Songkick Presale?
If at any point you would like to understand the fan engagement of your Songkick Presale, simply head to the 'Insights' tab in the left-hand nav of your Tourbox account. Here you can navigate to 'Event insights' and view the number of Songkick users that have been notified about each individual event on your tour, as well as the event views, ticket link clicks and click-through rate.
Are there any other means that I can use to promote something related to my artist's album campaign?
There sure are! Artist Updates is a feature that allows you to post a personally curated announcement to your artist's Songkick trackers, whether that be announcing a new album, single, video, piece of merch, or simply thanking them for a great show last night.
